About us

Solongo Rehabilitation Group is a Non Governmental Organization located in Western Kenya, Sabatia Constituency, Chavakali division. Our workshop is located in Chavakali at the Eldoret, Kisumu, Kakamega junction.

We were moved by the economic and social hardships of the people and their ramification on the well being of the youth and women, including the vulnerable members of this society.

The situation was affecting the youth of the society the most, as they were moving away from the mainstream and drifting towards anti-social activities such as petty theft, thuggery, prostitution, drinking of illicit brews, and drugs.

We then started the Solongo Rehabilitation Group, in the Sabatia Constituency, with the aim to:

  • Eradicate poverty
  • Help the children get education
  • Provide training to men & women so as to make them employable,
  • Fight deforestation
